This is not a graphics card issue but i've just got my new laptop (in sig) and when I play BF2 i get this horrible buzzing sound. I have the Creative Audigy ADVANCED MB drivers installed that came with the laptop.

Anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it?

I am unsure of exactly what you are speaking of.. But I have encountered buzzing regularly when playing certain games (usually Unreal Tournament 2k4) and have found that the way to fix it would be to go into the game's audio settings and switch from hardware to software audio control or vice versa whichever it is set on at the time.

For me it was a crackling sound, I coundnt hear the gunshots properly they were all ...just messed up.

To fix as lifesmaelstrom said go into Audio settings, have a look at weather it is on Hardware or Software and whatever it is on change it to the other. Like for me it was set on Hardware, changed it to Software and it was all fixed.

Or alternatively you could try fresh drivers for your sound card from the manufacturers site
