    C&C kane's wrath problem

    hey guys i got a prob with my game.. the prob is when i play the game the shadows are too smudged up.. it like there on a really low resoloutin so the shadow quality of the shadows projected are crap... and i have set my shadows option to high!!.. this really ruins the effect of playin the game

    does any one have the same problem or a solution?...
    i have an 8600M gt
    174.74 drivers

    Have you tried changing the in-game settings? A driver change might fix this, also you could try re-installing the game\expansion as a last resort :)

    i have tried fooling around with the settings... no difference.. the same thng happened with C&C tiberium wars.. and that was with a different driver also... need to find a way to edit the ini files

    Don't have c&c but look in the root directory for any ini, cfg, con(etc..) files, also my documents\games could have config files aswell. Open any you think is to do with video settings in notepad and search for a line with "shadow resolution" in it, and set the value higher(not too high :eek:).

    I'm guessing you already knew about editing ini's :) but i thought i'd spell it out just in case :D Hope this helps.
