    C&C3 troubles?

    Anyone get errors when playing C&C3?

    I get a c&c3.bat error.

    I also get tons of video card errors. My X1600 isnt over clocked and my drivers are fine for every other game.

    Actually, I used to get cnc3game.dat errors as well. However, I found a simple solution that worked for me. All I did was change my Shader Detail to Medium. No matter what the x1600 can handle, try to set it to Medium and play. If it crashes still then make sure you have the latest patch.

    Yeah I have the latest patch, Ill try the shader on medium.

    Doesnt seem like the x1600 is stumbling at all though

    A bunch of games with "no cd patch" wont work on my laptop. Perhaps its a Vista issue ?

    I only have two on my laptop with no-cd patches, and thats C&C3 and Far Cry. I finally got C&c to crash after about 8 hours when i put it to sleep. I mount the dvd's (C&C3 is 5 frigging gigs!) in dameon tools and use the patch from gamecopyworld

    Well, I updated my drivers and so far they seem to be working great. I think it was 163.15 or somethin

    No, it doesn't. If you have done it before and you think it was painstaking, you're one lazy...nvm

    Just go to laptopvideo2go.com and download the latest drivers for your OS and the modded INF. Replace INF and install.
