Hello guys. I didn't get any info about this new display driver for ATI Radeons, my 6870M is doing fine except tuning up its power play to maximum performance, doing some black stripes while playing Skyrim and all that.. :(
So i stay to Battery Life mode, good thing it's still flawless playing Skyrim except i have to turn off anti-aliasing, sotrophic filtering, and shadow.

Anyone of you is in 12.3? I'm gonna install 12.3 today. And i will also give a feedback of how it goes. Please, leave some comments here about 12.3, thank you so much. :)

    I'm on 12.3 also...no issues

Ran through an hour of Skyrim and it's looking good for me on these drivers. Running at 1920x1080, Ultra preset, 4xAA 16xAF. I didn't see any weird artifacts which is a good thing

No issues on 12.3 aside from a cmd line pop up at boot, but after a search i'm not the only one experiencing that. The card is behaving normally in gaming.

Believe me, had to look all over for what the issue is. Apparently is has something to do with OpenCL and AML. On 12.2 i used to get the AML installer on every boot, seems to have installed correctly on 12.3 and the cmd popup is just something we're not supposed to see and AMD forgot to remove it. I got something similar a while ago on some version of 10.x so i wouldn't worry too much. With the SSD i can't really tell what it is it just auto closes too fast. ;)

Been running 12.3 for a long time now. No issues except that pop-up that occurs at boot. Not a problem at all though.

BF3 performance has dropped for me though. Not sure if it's related to 12.3, the new patch, or a combination of both.

I think we all got that AML at boot, however 12.3 is fine, it did improve my games and no strange artifacts found.

That would be the game settings profile package #1 for the 12.3 CCC/drivers. CAP stands for Catalyst Application Profiles.

Yes, I understand the abbreviation, but is it actually helpful, will it improve anything if I download the CAP?

Are "application profiles" just settings profiles I can manually tweak myself anyways? Or are they some kind of update data that actually improves the drivers, as Andrew D suggests.

I personally do not fool with CAPs. I just tweak all of my games manually with RadeonPro and any cfg or ini files in games that are tweakable.
