I'm pretty satisfied with performance on this card with 6.7 cats. But in my never ending quest for more juice, I have three questions:

1- Is there an easy way to overclock this card? I was kinda disappointed to see that Asus slightly underclocks it in stock form and that ATI disabled the Overdrive utility in the new drivers.

2- Is there anyway to ditch CCC and just run the new series drivers alone? I'd like to stay with Catalyst drivers since they seem to be reported as being the most stable (as opposed to Omegas and such).

3- Is there anything else that would need MS .NET framework on my machine if I'm able to successfully complete question 2? I have Win MCE.

    Thanks for the help.

Yeah, Cats 6.8 are better than 6.7's, I would suggest them aswell. :)

And yes I would ditch CCC, just install the driver only without CCC, make sure to go to custom install.

Then download ATI Tray Tools and use that in place of CCC, its much better IMO and uses less RAM.

Thank you...and sorry Mastha212, I didn't see your previous post.
    What about .NET framework?
Can I delete it or is there anything else that needs it?
That too is a massive resource hog.
