I dont get it. It just worked a few days ago and now when I put the game in, it doesn't recognize that the cd in the cd-drive and it tells me to restart the action.
ugh.So I call gamestop and they tell ME I can replace it, if I have a receipt and so I paid with cash and misplaced my receipt.
I still have yet to go into gamestop, but before I do I wanted to run it by you guys.
My cd-drive will read other cd's just not the assassin's creed one. I've run virus protectors, burned cd's and none say they have problems.
Can someone help me?
Edit: I knew I should of bought from steam. Damn. I don't have to worry about cd problems, only steam problems.

Try updating your drive firmware if it needs an update. Worst case scenario, have a friend rip an ISO and mount it with Daemon Tools.

Deamon tool & Alchohol fail the protection on almost everything now... The solution is the other solution.

I blame the government! Just tell the manager at Gamestop that since they sold you a defective product, and you were considering legal action to remedy the situation. They will fold faster than the NSA can break into your laptop!

Well... Daemon Tools works on my version of the ISO.
