    CLI.exe taking up 30% of cpu , comes with ati control center

    every hour or so cli.exe just starts taking up 30% of my cpu i have Acer 5672, 1.6 core duo and Radeon x1600 . Does anyone how to get rid of it? i looked up and found out that it comes with Ati control center

    I think ATI has an option to download drivers sans the control center. You might look into that.

    don't use the CCC

    it is a resource hog

    try uninstalling video driver, restart, run Ccleaner (google it) then click issues and scan for issues to resolve possible registry problems, then install omega 6.9

    much less resurce hogging

    Uninstall the CCC, and then just install ATI Tray Tools, its much simpler, and much less of a resource hog.

    Right now ATT is taking up no more than 4mb's, while retaining all the features of CCC and a few extras! :)
