    The details are the following:

    This is the new Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare patch that will bring your version of the game from 1.6 to 1.7 and fixes a number of bugs and exploits.

    There are some small tweaks in this one, including:
    - Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.

    - Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.

    - Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language.

    Nothing much, apparently they haven't put the new Killcams from the consoles and also they should fix something that annoys me that the players can jump up and down left and right like in UT3.

    will the single player still work with the no cd crack for ver 1.6? I tried googling for ver 1.7 and no results.

    NOCD cracks are ILLEGAL talk here... but i wont report you like someone did to me the first time i unwittingly mentioned them >_<. And you don't need the update to play single player....

    not necissarily. I put a wall-op in my cd (dropped the corner of my computer on the cd), and i still hadnt finished the single player, so i used a cd crack until i could convince activision to give me a new cd

    hey i dont think it should be illegal either since it should be legal to use them if you OWN the cd, no pirating of course. But i was warned once... and i wouldnt like to be again... :-/

    It won't be legal in Canada much longer. In fact, it'll be a $20,000 fine even if you own the game. Cheers.

    I found out about it here on this forum. I've read it's perfectly legal and why shouldn't it be? All it does is conveniently lets you start your game without having to put the cd inside. It's not like you pirated the game or stole a copy of it I don't even see how the two are related. And I'm thankful that ppl brought it up in this forum or I would have stopped playing my pc games altogether just because of the inconvenience of having to find my discs and insert it in the drive. So yeah please, don't let this forum turn into a censored Nazi forum. The reason I registered was to get knowledgable about my device and thanks to this forum I'm learning about computers.
