Title--- 1152x864 is the highest resolution I can set it to.

    I'm using an NP9150 with a gtx 680m and 3610qm.

This happens when it is plugged in to my external 1080p TV via HDMI or DVI. Although if I use the native display 1080p is selectable. Has anyone else encountered this problem and fixed it? Been searching for days and none of the fixes (i.e. select windowed full screen then restart) have worked for me.

    p.s. I'm using 310.90 drivers. Thank you.

Not sure what it could be, tried connecting my own notebook to the TV and it worked great.
My setup was notebook monitor + second screen over DVI and then a long HDMI from my PC to the TV. Dream setup. :)

Thanks for the reply... it's good to know some people(1 :D) aren't(isn't) having this problem.

Could it be that the HM series isn't affected somehow since you don't have optimus?

Try messing with config.cfg in notepad if you're sure it's not the drivers

My bad.. I haven't updated to the latest beta drivers. Thanks for the response, but BOPS2 doesn't have a config file that is editable by notepad :(.

Do you have access to a different HDTV to check if you can do 1920x1080 on that?
That would help to check if the problem is the notebook or the actual TV.

It shouldn't be the tv since i can play dota 2,hon, cod mw2 &3, codbo, moh2 and warfighter, and many more on 1080p. But ill try to bring my lappy to a friend's house to test your idea/theory. Thank you very much for the help Mobius 1 and DEagleson!
