Today, after a month I thought to play some multiplate rin COD MW2.
Installed and finished everything.
When I am in the MP, I select a game and it says its waiting for 7 players or 12 players in any map and stucks there.
It doesn't proceed futher.
Any idea whats wrong that it just says" Waiting"??

Only way I can help is by directing you to the uninstall program feature in windows 7. Then toss said game into garbage can, lol, or give it a way to some poor soul...nm, that would not be nice.

Looks like you were really offended by Infinity ward??
-
Not offended, it just could have been a lot better with dedicated servers. Plus having to pay for DLC content? Sucks. At least EA doesn't make you pay for extra maps for bc2. Gameplay however is pretty fun though I prefer flashpoint or bc2.

The OP has a specific question he would like help with. This thread is not a receptacle for anti-MW2 comments - there are plenty of other threads for that. Be helpful or keep the negative comments to yourself. Thanks for understanding.

I got the game for PS3 and had also the same issues with it. However, it started working randomly. There are times when I cannot play the multiplayer, but most of the time it works.
It is IMO quite pathetic, but on the other hand I do not play online that much anyways and enjoy the singleplayer and co-op missions. -
how long are you waiting and what kind of connection are you getting? also check if you have to portforward that game, i know my old router was very temperamental and i couldn't play anything untill i got a new one >.<

Try just hitting ESC and pick a game again. It hangs sometimes. Usually the 2nd or 3rd try throws you into a game right away.

Well, I have a cable internet with 16 MBPS which is hooked up in a Linksys router.
I almost waited like 30 min still I am alone waiting for quota of other players..
I can see that there are 100k players online but no matter whic map I choose, all I am doing is wait. -
Do you have the correct ports forwarded to your local IP, and did you enable UPnP?

If you know the model of your router, check for instructions on that site. -
