    COD:MW2 Stimulus Package today. Anyone get it?

    So the map-pack came out today for MW2. Was priced at $13.50 for pre-order or $15 at the door.

    Just curious did anyone pick this up? And does anyone know is there also an update that eliminates the wall-hacks, cheats, and all the other mumbo jumbo that diminishes this game.

    i didn't.. 10 pounds isn't worth 5 maps.. i'll just save my money and get another game.

    I pre-ordered the pack the first day I could, and I've been playing the maps all day. I'm not too into Overgrown (never liked it as a CoD4 map either), but overall the maps are great. I'm especially fond of Bailout.

    Hmmmm debating on getting it. I have it for PS3 and PC. Thing is I have about 15 friends on PS3 and only one friend on PC. Decisions, decisions.... whats a man to do? :p

    Don't do it. Really. I find most of the maps to be pretty bad for most game types..

    I actually love Overgrown, but find Crash, Storm, and Salvage to be terrible. The suburbs one is just barely bearable.. but it sucks because it's not true suburbs.

    All of the maps (except overgrown) have a very same-y feel.. they're all divided into like 3 main corridors of doom, and are loaded with camping spots, even moreso than the old maps.

    Recommend do not buy. Also, the people that don't buy the map-pack are generally less hard core, so more nooby, therefor more fun to kill.

    I'd also recommend getting Battlefield BC2 for the Xbox, not the PC. Runs like crap on the PC.. bad port.

    it was released for pc at 6pm uk time last night.
    steam as usual crashed and then the download servers couldnt handle to volume of people trying to download it.
    so 6pm the avilable in 1 hour dissapeared from the steam link but no download link appeared.
    6.30 it then changed to 2 hours until release.
    7.30 a trickle download started but kept pausing every couple of minutes
    8.30 finally downloaded but game wouldnt load due to high demand.
    8.40 this game is unavailable.try again later
    9pm finally managed to start playing.

    when i loaded mw2 on release day it took 7 hours to get it loaded so yesterdays 3 hours wasnt that bad.
