Having an issue running COD4 on my Dell D820.The game is really choppy. Graphics look great but no matter what I do the game will not run properly. Possibly a FPS issue? I Upgraded memory to 4GB but no changed. All other games run great with settings above optimal configurations. Any suggestions?

How much FPS you got? Try the command: "\cg_drawFPS 1" in the console. Maybe its because of the video card??? After all, Quadro are not made for gaming.

what operating system are you running? have you patched CoD4 all the way?

    edit:

you need to go into the options menu and bring all the graphics down to the minimum and the resolution down to 640x480.

THEN- if it runs well, start bringing up graphics options and resolution until you find a happy balance of graphics and performance.

    (1) Is this online? If so, snooze your anti-virus.
    (2) Does it run choppy in both singleplayer & multiplayer? Only one?
    (3) Whats your resolution?
    (4) Texture settings?
    (5) Graphics settings?

Did you update all of your drivers including your audio drivers?
