I checked my email Friday and saw that I had been chosen to get a token for the beta.

Woke up the next morning and started the download via Xbox Live, it was suprisingly fast, about 25 mins to load a little over 1gb and that's with two notebooks, (dv6000t) (dv6500t) both playing WoW over the wireless router.

I have to say that COD4 is one fast paced first person shooter with some pretty cool perks, leveling up and consecutive kills is cool, plus the last shot system before you die is pretty sweet as well. We got up to the cap of level 11 pretty quick, called in a couple of air strikes and went on a few kill streaks.

Graphically it is nice, the guns and your hand camo textures are really good, you can break windows on vehicles and when you shoot through a window the bullet actually goes through the car and leaves a hole on the other side. They added the fact you can shoot through walls with deep impact as well, kinda cheap, but oh well I can use it too, lol.

It's a bit washed out though with not alot of color detail, but the game runs super fast and really smooth over Xbox Live and the kill animations are pretty sweet through the sniper sight.

Overall I enjoyed playing it, it was fun and VERY fast paced!
