Which one do you think is better?
I have played both demos and they are both kick ass.
Crysis:the game is like a movie, it has the best graphics I've ever seen and great encounters. Played everything at high with water low.
COD4: Known for single player story mode, and mulitplayer. I'm used to playing cs 1.6, so cod4 was easier to get used to. Might me more popular online as well..
Maxed settings.

CoD4... of course
-
One giant tech demo against a game universally acclaimed for its storyline and multiplayer gameplay, not to mention better sales for the latter overall. It's up to you which one you think is better but I suggest getting COD4 since it's got the better longevity gameplay-wise.
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
well Crysis does have mods, some of which look great.
does COD4 have mods? -
go for COD4. Crysis is all about visuals...its lacking story and game play.
-
COD4.... for it's unforgettable cinematic gameplay and storyline!
-
COD4 is great but to say Crysis is a tech demo that has no gameplay is stupid and ignorant. Go look at reviews for both games, check out demos or play the games at a friend's house and decide for yourself.
-
cod4 - there are a lot of cracked servers so u dont need original
crysis - need al least 2x8800 to have a nice game play
take cod4 - good multiplayer, almost all games are for 1 time play, but with multiplayer you never boring
crysis - i dont know about multi, i play cod4 -
-
COD4 is much better, and the multiplayer is awesome. You`ll have more people to play with, since COD4 is less demanding.
Also,COD4 sSP is a very nice one, albeit too short... -
Cod4 Please!
-
COD4.
The only advantage that Crysis has is the visuals... but honestly I prefer the art design of COD4, even if Crysis has better "technical" graphics.
COD4 has a superior (if short) single player campaign that actually goes somewhere, unlike Crysis which seemed to me like a tech demo sandbox with an unfinished storyline.
Multiplayer... no contest. COD4 wins hands down. Just look at how many people are playing online.
W00t. -
The general consensus seems to be that COD4 is a great game in general, whereas the only area where Crysis shines is its graphics; even then, you won't be able to enjoy the full Crysis experience without about two hundred 8800GTXes in SLI.

Crysis sucks. end.
-
COD4 it is. -
I think it's down to personal preference, but I actually prefer crysis for it's gameplay, that gives you a multitude of different ways you can attack the enemy. Whereas I found after playing through COD4 once or twice it gets a bit stale, having to follow pretty much the same route each time. Just my personal opinion.
-
dude get COD4 it has an amazing storyline that is just like a movie and once you have that finished the multiplayer owns
its like and FPS rpg lol. Crysis is just visuals with a boring story..dont bother
-
get CoD4 , crysis is just like a eyecandy game u wont play after u play it imo. Cod4 has more longevity
-
Call of Duty 4.

-
Another vote for CoD 4.

(SAY'S IT ALL)
CRYSIS FTW! ! ! ! !
I might get cod4 at some stage... when it's cheap enough for what it offers! LOL
And i thouroughly enjoy crysis on my 8400m gt -
Hey guys would i be able to play cod4 online if i have 25-30kbps download speed?? Will i have any ping problems??
-
Crimsonman Ex NBR member
COD4.... I would get that any day over Crysis
-
I think you would probly have to train your shots about a second ahead of where you see people in the game -
-
Crysis is victim of hype, so now most people hate it. The thing that sucks is that its actually a really good game, but it gets a lot of negative reception because its the "wannabe cool kid on the block" that everyone loves to hate. It has problems in multi-player with cheaters that are not being addressed quickly enough, but its a solid game offline and on.
That said, COD4 is still a better choice, but get Crysis if you can when its $30 or so, the campaign wont disappoint, and power struggle online is awesome. -
2 to 3 years from now, buy Crysis for $5 or less on Amazon.
By then, you'll have a reasonably priced system with the proper specs to run it the way it should be played. In the meantime, as nearly everyone properly suggested, get COD4. -
Here's the funny thing. The Crytec programmers sheepishly said that they meant for the game to be a "benchmark" game.
And so the running joke when a new system comes out is... "can it run Crysis?" -
Oblivion and Bioshock are great games that fell victim to hype/backlash, for failing to outperform Morrowwind and System Shock 2 respectively, in all areas for all gamers.
Crysis is just a poorly coded game with pretty graphics, uninspiring storyline, and a tedious, boring second half, and yes, I own it. -
COD4 ftw. I personally don't find crysis as fun and crysis's requirements are really really high. COD4 on the other hand, has very low requirements for such a beautiful game
-
Umm... I would buy food and water.
jk. get cod 4. -
After viewing the video, Im thinking I might be looking for the wrong game. -
-
Oh cmon,
COD4 has an intense and cinematic single player story and spectacular multi player. That being said Crysis was also a very fun game and if you thought its single player was boring you have no imagination. People get so worked up about crysis because of the hype and then forget that it was a decent game.
I would probably have to go with COD4 because the multi player is so darn addictive -
I'm so used to being addicting to an online fps. Haha I have played cs 1.6 for the last 6 years (cal-m and cevo leagues) and it's so fun. Source is addicting, too. But crysis and cod 4 are seeming to replace my old games, although I'm not sure I can leave cs 1.6.
I'm going to pick up cod4 probably soon. I'm going to florida this week so i'm not sure. I hope it can replace cs 1.6 as it seems like it can, except for respawning which is a complete death match in 1.6 -
.
. And yes, Crysis did fall victim to the hype, that was created directly by its graphics. Let me ask you a question: Which is the better game Half Life 2 or Crysis? I got bored with Crysis, its nothing special, it feels like a tech demo created by some university students with ridiculous graphics. Now Half-Life, those dudes could write a best-selling novel.
1. Cod4
2. Oblivion
3. Orange Box
4. Get a Ps3... Pc's are pissing me off with no variety... -
Okay so Crysis had a cookie cutter story. I still had a lot of fun trying different approaches to assaulting camps and so forth.
Anyway to the OP if you want to have fun with COD4 use the g3 with a silencer ... -
COD4 for the brilliant multi-player. I'm going to go against the grain here as I played COD4 SP for the grand total of about 15 minutes and found it to be completely boring....so I've never tried playing it since.
-
GO FOR COD4
crysis is a nice game, but the single player is nice only the first time and the multiplayer sucks. COD4 instead has a good and replayable singeplayer and one of the best multiplayers according to me.
COD4 OR Crysis. I only have 50 dollars.
