COD4 level 55

Just so I can get a feel on how long it will take me to get to level 55, for anyone that has reached this level how many hours of gameplay did it take for you to get there. I know that it takes different amounts of time for each person but I just want to get a grasp for how long it will take me to get there.

 

It doesn't take that long and when you finally get there you are totally bored of COD4.

 

it took me about a weekend of playing maybe 3 hrs 2 days, and 5 hrs friday

 

I played on my desktop comp and got 45 in about a week. Now that I load it up on my laptop I'm back at level 1

 

It is pretty much pointless, there are cracks you can download that get you to lvl 55 in a sec, so don't think that it gets you like any respect points or anything (too bad it doesn't too). I am like lvl 43 legit (what ever the desert eagle is), and it's been fun, probebly took me a total of like 20 hrs being very generous. Once you get to a certain point and have all the guns and stuff it doesn't relally matter any mroe).

 

I got up to 55 in about a week. It's real easy since no matter what you get XP...

And Abyss, you don't have all the guns until you're 55

 

I find I dont even like the higher weapons anyways.....an M4 Carbine with an acog scope does me fine.

 

huh, i must just be good if it only took me a little while... my gun combos are g36c with acog and doubletap or increesed damage

 

The M4 is awesome, especially with Double-Tap.

I hate the Acog tho...

Right now I'm working on getting Red Tiger camo for the MP5. MP5 with a silencer, 2nd shotgun, special grenade x3(flash), overkill, and dead silence for me...

 

yeha I used to hate it to....cause its not really super accurate at all with the ACOG, but once you figure it out its great!

 

well all the guns thats for the type you play.

IE me I don't snipe, or whatever you get at 55.

Usually M4/last light machine gun. Is my combo, with martyrdom, overkill and frag3.

frag 3 is like the last great thing you get.

 

on a good sniping lvl, i barret ppl till im out of ammo xD

 

use the RPD to level up quickly. its so easy to get kills, but i think sniping is more fun

 

I like using the very first sniper rifle in hardcore. It's weak compared to the .50 cal, but it's really easy to take consecutive shots with, especially when they're 1-shot kill in hardcore either way.

 

I like the m44 as wll or whatever it is..very strong...good with the acog cause its like a sniper rifle pretty much

 

Greatest weapon in the game though.... is the knife

 

lol it is.....if you have UAV jammer and dead silence your prettty much set with the knife

 

If you're good at fps games, you can level up in <24 hours of game play.

You can copy your "players" folder to your laptop and then your profile from your desktop will be there!

 

I bought CoD4 the day it came out. I can't remember how long it took me to get to 55, but it wasn't long. Today, I made the mistake of deleting my profile thinking it would be cool to start over, but it's not, lol. I miss my guns...

 

I'm a lvl 55... Now i just gotta work on gettin all the Gold crap lol

 

I must just not be that good at CoD4. I got 26 hours of gameplay logged (had it since November, but I don't play a lot) and im only level 38. What kind of kill-death ratios do you guys have? I average 50-50 usually, sometimes a lot higher, sometimes a lot lower.

 

really depends on the map, and people I'm playing with. 1:1 is average I'd say, but then there's times when I'll somehow get 10:1.

Maybe playing hardcore mode will get you your levels fasts, since you'll get a lot more kills since everyone dies in a couple of shots.

 

Hardcore mode ftw! I don't really like softcore, or whatever its called. How many weapons you guys got that are already expert 3? I got the m4, p90, mp5, and barret. Almost done with the g36c, need like 30 more headshots.

 

I have Expert 2 done for a few. Only one I've really tried to get headshots with is MP5. I'm 20 away from Red Tiger camo.

 

i dont really care about that stuff personally....

I just want to play

 

If you really want xp go on an ffa (or tdm) on shipment map.

I get about 1000 (-bonus) on bad days and up to 3000 on good days

 

Took me a week or two. Still play all the time. AK with standard iron sights weapon of choice for me!

its prettmy much the saw with acog
martydom, and increased damage +2 frag grenade

i love mortydom tho, cause i just rush the enemy and when i get killed i usually take out a few

Cool I asked in a few games and they told me no go, I'll give that a try next time.

 

I have close to 5 hours on my guy and am only on level 10. Doesn't really matter that much about the levels, but when I see a guy drop dead infront of me, I am happy.

 

I'm already bored of COD 4. Once you hit level 50 and get the Barret 50 cal(at lvl 49), you're tried of the game already.

 

Really? I can't seem to stop playing and I've been 55 for quite some time.

 

yeah me too, almost at prestige level two and I am still loving it

 

hey, on the subject, how do you do the whole prestige thing?

 

That's a weird thing to say. Most of my friends are level 55 and we all still love playing the game. Levels are not a central concept to the gameplay, you can still do very well even at level 1.

COD4 rules!

 

It's fun, but if you have played Battlefield, you'd understand. I want to use Vehicles myself. :O


My favorite maps are OverGrown, PipeLine, and Shipment on COD 4.

i really like backlot...

and once you hit level 55 you can choose to do prestige, your back at leevl one so you lose all your guns and attachments but you get a new symbol.

 

Prestige is only for the counsels, not for the PC version. Also ranks aren't everything, which made bf2 full of stat padders.
