    COD5 PC beta is out today.

    Go to www.callofduty.com
    sign up (top right)
    activate your account, and you'll get a key instantly.

    I'll post screenshots once it's done DLing. :D

    btw.. there seems to be a problem with the one I downloaded, but it was a simple obvious fix..

    If the installer won't run, right click the file, click rename, and at the end just add


    .exe

    and it'll run

    Im downloading it as we speak. I am getting my notebook soon so i dont have enough money to go buy the game for my PS3 when it releases. I generally favor the console versions of games. I like the SIX AXIS controller and I didnt pay 600 bucks for nothing :)

    Btw, here's some screenshots I took.

    Performance on my desktop is...

    1920x1080 all max settings 4xAA 91fps constant..

    The multiplayer feels exactly like COD4, but with different skins.
    And tack on alot of gore. When a bomb goes off near you, your limbs will pop off and blood spurts everywhere!

    I happen to like it, I think they could have done alot more with the texture work, some of the textures on surfaces look really low res, but it's basically just COD4, but in WW2, and the whole dogs idea works well to me, it's alot less frustrating than the annoying helicopter, but it's still very effective! Many other things like airstrikes are just replaced with mortar strikes, less accurate, more time consuming, but higher blast radius, still pretty much the same thing as the airstrike though. There's also quite a bit of weapons, a few more couldnt hurt though.

    Do I have to register at Callofduty5.com? Mcafee site advisor is giving me a red warning for spyware and other stuff. Can I just download from filefront, install and just start playing?

    so I'm downloading at filefront for nothing? or can I download at filefront and register at cod5 hoping that since I haven't downloaded anything at that site I won't get any kind of virus or spyware?

    wow! looks fun! this is just normal mode right? I prefer HC (some hate it) =). Not sure about the ghillie suits (they just annoy me cause people they are "teh 5upa l33t k1llZ0rs" with it lol).

    Ah this is BS. I entered my info on cod.com then submitted it said they sent me an email confirm, I go and check no email sent. I go back to cod.com and try and log in says error occured and asks me to register again I try and they say error email already in use. So I can't log in don't have no email confirm and downloading useless beta.
