Hi everybody, I installed Windows XP Pro 32-bit on my new MB, and as soon as I did that I installed COD5. Ever since I installed it, it has been terribly laggy, to the extent it took a couple minutes to get to the home screen because it would lag so much. I have the stock Boot Camp drivers. Any ideas on why this is so bad? Also, all the settings are on low, with AA off.

    Have you downloaded the patch?

Have you tried different drivers? Including sound card?

Any problems like this with other games?

Where could i find the patch at? And all of the games I've tried on it have been like that. I have Quantum of Solace and that is the same way. I'm going to try to install Battlefield 2 and see what happens. BTW, where could I find the sound card drivers, and what would be the best driver for the Aluminum MB. It's running the Geforce 9400M. Thanks!

Your Geforce 9400M is the problem, I even have trouble running it with a 8600GT (gddr2).

I thought you said motherboard for some reason lol and was gonna say install a 9800gt in there for $100, but yea, MacBook.

You really can't get it any b etter unless you do some tweaks which i cant find my self.

    good luck

Thanks to all who responded! I fixed the problem. I just had to do a restart and now it's what I thought it would be.
