Check out gamespot and read about it. I love CoH and have no clue what to think about this expansion. They are trying to centre the battles on very small groups so I know in one campaign you are just a single tank crew or something like that. They are trying to change things up which is awsome as things do get stale, but I hope they don't try too hard and make the game worse (DoW II anyone?).

They are adding new multiplayer modes, maps, and units, they are adding three new campaigns and something called direct fire which doesn't really matter much to me.

I am liking DOW 2 alot....but it would be better as a spin off rather than a sequel.

It is nothing like DOW so how can it be DOW 2....call it DOW+Diablo= Cool...but not Dow

    ...anyway...

What are you looking forward to most about the new expansion?

I am happy to get more maps...that is pretty much the only downfall of the coh series.....lack of maps

I just wish you could have air support with CoH.

Really looking forward to CoH ToV, like the idea of focusing on smaller units, with hopefully a good storyline the relationship could be more intense and add the the gameplay alot.
I have to say CoH is my favourite RTS series and ii dont mind the changes relic propose for ToV just so long as they keep to the themes of the past 2, i think this is a stand alone expansion.

Have you actually played CoH? There are strafing runs, bombing runs, and supply drops to name 3 items of air support.

How much more air support do you want?

I'm just hoping CoH ToV turns out to be as good as OF but having just read the post above by mtness I fear it's going to turn out like DoW 2, full of shiny graphics but lacking in soo many areas (assuming mtness is correct).

I love DoW and CoH but I don't like the direction DoW 2 has taken, the old adage less is more does not equal a good RTS version of 40k, or WW2...

i dont think i said to much stuff related to the game by maybe you could read this preview to see for yourself.

    http://www.google.com/gwt/n?q=Tales...=http://pc.ign.com/articles/959/959262p1.html

it seems to say some very promicing information and the campaign does seem to focus on smaller units, that gain command points to affect the spacific unit rather than the battle as a whole, ie when your unit is the tank it allows tank upgrades etc.

But if we base our view on the preview it does seem to be taking the game in a slightly different direction, there are three maps where each of the three campaigns are played out, and it seems as though you stick with either the tank unit, or able/ baker squad for each of those campaigns, if this is the case it seems as though it could play out more likea realtime rpg strategy rather than the RTS of past.
What really interests me is what happens online or in skirmish mode, the single player campaign could be fun but i hope it isnt like that for the online/skirmish modes.
    Anyway interesting times ahead.

COH is just a good game and having just new missions added, that's good enough for me.
