Any recommendations on simple but accurate CPU and GPU monitor programs? May be even Fan speed as well.
    Cheers
    Chris :)

if you have a dedicated videocard and Nvidia... the easiest program to use is RivaTuner or nTune.

    for CPU:
    - Notebook Hardware Control
    - RMclock

    for an all-in-one solution:
    - Everest
    - HWMonitor

I use HWMonitor as speedfan doesn't work properly on my notebook. Neither does NHC. Not tried RMclock.......yet.

HWMonitor only checks the CPU and HDD temps for me.

For gaming notebooks, the GPU is probably the most important temp to monitor... only a few programs will do that:
    - RivaTuner
    - nTune
    - ATITool
    - ... maybe to a point, HWmonitor

Only Riva Tuner works for me. But temps were never a problem for me since they stay UNDER 66C at all times(reached 70 when I forced medium mode by accident, but not 1 degree more :D)
The CPU tends to get hot and cool down very very fast,in a matter of seconds/minutes. Highest I saw was 68C, when OCed , in 3dmark06.

I use I8kfanGUI for my Laptop. It is mainly used for the dell laptops, but you might be able to use it.
