In general, for gaming, which is worth more?

    And in particular, between a T2400 with a X1600 128Mb (+128Mb shared) and a T2300 with a X1600 256Mb (+256Mb shared), which should I choose?

In gaming, the video card is way more important than the CPU, and seeing as the specs are similar in CPU, definately go for the 256MB if you can.

lol, yes Chaz, I'm well aware of your guide

Yeah, I already suspected that the extra VRAM would have a greater impact on gaming. Unfortunately, I'll probably buy the first notebook, for the simple reason it will be out first. I guess I was just looking for something to make me feel less bad about it

Anyway, thanks both for paying attention ;)

Jenson is correct the video card is the main thing for gamers. Although you still want a decent CPU, prefferably 1.7+ though
If the CPU speed is too slow it can make a difference, you dont want anything under 1.0 Ghz.
