I am aware that source based games run the CPU higher than GPU intensive games like Crysis. However this new GS:GO is putting my i7 2760 at 80-85 on all for cores. Doesn't exceed 85 and I know the thermal limit is 100. Other games they run in the 60s-70s. Anyone else noticing this for this particular game?

Mine seems fine. No abnormalities whatsoever. I have the absolute highest video settings, too.

Yes, I had 85 degrees 2 with my 3610qm, I run highest settings to, I am not sure what it is, but it seems to heat up the cpu really bad :p

I have a i7-2630QM; source games always get my CPU in the 80s. IMO, it's typical.

OK cool just checking to see what other members were contending with. I know Source games are more CPU dependent. I know the TDP is 100 but the mid 80s seem to be a little high. But as long as I am not outside of the norm for a 2760qm...I won't fret!
