I've owned HL2 for a while now, I've already completed it, but throughout my play I experienced graphical errors in both HL2 and CS:S.

I can start a game and play it, but after a section of loading - or connecting for Source - the screen goes totally white with a few faint lines down the middle.
The game's still running which, I thought, would mean it was a GFX card problem, but the timing of the issue fluctuates.

It happens in no game but HL2, and it's been going on since the game was installed. I didn't have the problem when I was playing the HL2 demo, but the real game is giving me ****. It's either a serious error on behalf of Valve, or some sort of driver issue.

    Perhaps even a application conflict.

I've got the lastest Omega drivers installed. Does anyone know of any CS:S/HL2 errors?

    Any ideas because I'm stumped?

    Thanks guys.

    A

I haven't ever heard of this problem in CS:S/HL2, but your first place to look should be the help section on the valve website. If you dont find your problem, then sumbit a report for them to review. If they have a solution to the problem they will let you know!
