well, im running it on my lappy below, and i lag the same weather im on high or low graphics settings. and its not internet cause i tested with the internet off and playing against the cpu players.

What os are you using? 1gb is a little light for vista. when your lagging is your hard driving seeking when this happens? this would indicate a lack of ram. If you have xp you might just too much crap running in the background, virus scan ect.

And the GFX card is...?
-
A GMA 950, it would appear. You're not playing CS:S acceptably on that POS, ever. You can try forcing DirectX 7 mode (set "-dxlevel 70" as a launch option in Steam) and running it in 640x480 resolution. You may break 30 fps occasionally. Sorry I don't have better news, but that's why you should research things thoroughly before buying them.

Yeah, while CS:S will run without lag on lowest settings, resolution, and dx7 mode on the GMA950, it's not a fun experience. I recommend you play CS1.6, as that works so much better.
-
no, i mean that when it is on dx 7 mode, it is the same lag as with dx 9 with everything on high
-
ok, dx7 mode worx, thx alll

if you are able to mod your config file that will help too but it wont look purddi......
