    boy i really hate the new buying system in cs:s, i think steam/valve really screwed up the game a little...

    anyone else in the same boat as me?

    Yeah, it's a major turn off to the game now.

    Im in Cal, and luckily, valve made a cvar to turn it off. Only pubs usually will have this on in the coming weeks. Competitive pubs won't.

    The menu is different. What used to be 8 is now 6, and you get full ammo when you buy a gun.

    And prices fluctuate, depending on how many people buy them. For example, M4A1's and AK47s are a lot more compared to other guns due to their popularity.

    Oh well, at least I can easily by a FAMAS or UMP and own with those without hurting my wallet too much. :)

    I haven't been able to play css for a while (stupid HSC exams :( ) anyway, i can see they might want people to utilise some of the other weapons in the game...though i dont think an economy and the laws of demand and supply apply when you have a situation with counter terrorists and terrorists. Even if you did, its not like CSS is realistic anyway.

    I see the reasoning behind it, but I just think it's another nail in the coffin.

    And good luck with the HSC mate, I did mine last year. Most stressful time of my entire life.
