I installed Vista Ultimate beta2 on my ASUS Z96Js
Once I installed it and booted up vista, I noticed that it had already installed all neccisary drivers for me, Including Audio, wifi, and graphics drivers.
Playing Counter-Strike source with HDR was fine and ran great on the microsoft drivers. But when I installed Catalyst mobility Vista beta 2
I noticed that performace was much higher, yet there were some big issues, such as

This seems to only be a problem with the ATI drivers. The Ati drivers also do not support anything OpenGL.
When I ran "toy shop" and "Assasin" which are ATI real time demos, I found that they ran better than when using CAt 6.8 on XP Pro, and they had zero problems unlike CS:S.
If ATI fixes these problems, it seems like Vista and DX10 will offer you with even greater GPU performance. The buggy beta drivers already offer me about %20+ more performance in every application. Knowing that this type of increased performance is on the way, makes me look forward to the final version of Vista even more.

Whoa. That looks sweet. I'm contemplating either loading xp pro into my newly ordered z96j, or just being cheap using the vista beta.

Well if you play CSS its like Hacking but not detectible by VAC.
Yes you can see enemies through walls
Thanks vista Beta!
