Alright, so I just ordered a Xps m1530 with 8600M GT 256MB, 2.4 GHZ, 160 GB 7200 RPM HDD, AND 4GB RAM WITH x32! So I found out that all Dell computers come with x32. Now i'm all frushtrated that I might some bad gamplay on css. Now I spent most of my money on my comp (lol) and now I have no cash to buy x64. So it all comes down to one question: WILL CSS RUN CRAPPY?

CSS will run well on your system, at the native resolution most likely and mostly high settings. I don't think CSS is optimized for x64, nor are most steam games. Is the cpu Dual core? Just wondering.

CSS will run on a toaster. Your machine will handle it with ease.

the 8600 Gt is a good card. It can play old games on high and max and new games on high you should have no problems with CSS or any other game besides crysis.

Little off topic, but any chance you chose the Alpine white color? If you did, we have the EXACT same rig. lol.

Nope, nothing to worry about. Vista will still use up to about 3.5gb of that memory. I've seen CSS run on machines with Vista and 2gb RAM just fine. You'll definitely be ok. :)

I wanted the Alpine white but it seems they don't give it as an option.

It's a bit of a waste, because you can only use about 3-3.5 of your 4GB of RAM on a 32bit operating system. But it's not going to cause any errors if that's what you're asking.

You'll be fine, and if/when you do make the jump to a 64 bit OS, that extra RAM will be waiting for you. :)

Css actually uses a dated graphics engine even though it looks demanding, css will run on any modern cpu.
