    Guessing this is another Vista thing... but when I try to install one of my favorite games (CoD2), I get this error-

    1607- Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime.

    I know some friends with vista that can play COD2 so the problem is yours...
    Have you deactivated UAC?
