So now when I go online, and I go to find game, I cannot get any farther. It says "downloading game settings" and just stays there. I have reset the router and such, checked my connection and re-installed the patch. I have no clue what is going on, its really making me mad, im about to lose it.

    Any suggestions?

try redoing your network connection from scratch, then delete the game utility data (not your save file), then try again. hopefully that'll fix your problem.

I have confirmed that my router is the problem, I will be having to wired I guess, it is always a good connection that way and I wont have these problems. My PS3 is DMZed, and is port forwarded, I dont know what the prob is I i dont think I will ever know, o well. Need a like 40ft ethernet cable now.

If you have recently changed your security on your router that could be the problem. Make sure that the security settings are the same with your router, and with your PS3. ( Password and such )
