I just ordered a WD Velociraptor off NewEgg, is their any way to transfer my COD4 profile to this new drive?

I just ranked up to level 22, and it would REALLY suck if its not possible.

yes. copy the players folder located in the activision folder to a thumb drive or external. after you re-install cod4, copy it back to the activision folder, look for the active profile list and make sure your profile name is on it.

Ranks, and unlocked stuff are all in the mpdata file...just back that up. Custom classes are not though so just copy the entire folder if you want.

you need to move the COD4 folder on the drive, and copy the regestry keys.
Before ever opening the game, install the keys, then run the game (you won't need to install it) then you will be golden
