    1440x900 thats the max for laptop. but if I hook it up to my monitor straight, (no input on laptop screen) I can get 1920x1200

    that's what I'm planing to do for the next video. play games on 24" dell's native resolution. (1920x1200)

    At 1920x1200 you`re going to have problems running everything super smooth :)

    Yeah, 1440x900 is a lot less demanding. 1920x1200 should still look all right.

    That´s why I am glad I have 8800m GTX SLI since I have a WUXGA 1920x1200 native on my XPS. Still a single 8800m GTX runs 1920x1200 great and will do so for quite some time :)
