when zooming in on my rifle in the CoD 4 demo I get a very strange graphical phenomenon. Essentially the image goes crazy and two bright white spots appear and constantly enlarge until they engulf my screen. This happens no matter what weapon I use. I need some suggestions as to what would be causing this and what graphics settings I should tweak to weed out this annoyance.

I am running the game at 1280x1024 with 0 AA and AF as well as automatic texture filtering. I have turned off all of the bells and whistles for the demo in the nVidia control panel as well.

    thanks!

Nope, can't find anything from searching around. Do you still have the setup file? Maybe you can reinstall the demo.

Or maybe download from another location. Sometimes certain sites have a corrupt copy. If its not the graphics drivers, I don't know what else it could be specifically. I'll keep looking tbough to see if I find anything.
