Lol at all the mini reviews i swear im not a COD fanboy so it shouldnt sound like Im just being stuburn and standing up for COD for no good aparent reason. I played alot CS:S. This game looks way better then that game lol...In fact I played a few minutes of CSS this last week, so funny the character models look like cubes after playing Black Ops.

Yep, I play it on high detail with 2x AA at 1680x1050 resolution and it runs beautifully with a 330M GT and an i7 620M, so  . And the game looks just fine. They aren't the best graphics but so what? I'll take dated graphics for dated hardware requirements.

As far as playability goes, I'm really loving this game. This is my first keyboard & mouse FPS that I play and at first I was having a hard time getting used to the controls, especially since I hardly play FPSs on consoles too. But I think I'm getting the hang off it and the game is just becoming a lot more entertaining as my mastery of the controls increase and as I progress through the campaign.

The only other CoD games that I've played are MW2 (played for about one day and didn't really like it) and CoD2: Big Red One (loved that game).

@The joker - check the steam forums. You will find that a majority of the posts are folks that can't play on high level pc's and the occasional troll post about nuketown, hackers, etc...

I made a video of the desktop in my sig playing BO on Extra, 1280x1024. I just don't have a YouTube account to upload it. I can email it to you, its 53MB.

@Joker - I believe you man. I assume positive intent so no worries. It's the inconsistency about the game that is so challenging. So many people have spent tons on hardware and have issues with lag or glitching (both on sp and mp). It's a fun game, don't get me wrong. It just doesn't present anything to peak my interest after lvl 50. If I had it over again I would probably have waited until a half price sale for this one. Best Wishes and happy holidays! I always liked the gateway laptops, they have some orange in them like my lenovo y460, orange has always been my favorite color for what ever reason lol. When teachers ask you what your favorite color is i always said orange hah...9800 nvidia mobile card is surely a well off enough card to play it.

    A few after video thoughts:

I need a steadier hand and better camera :)

If it looks slightly slow, it could be the camera or Setting it on Extra is just to much. I normally play on High setting just for 100% smoothness.
