I know there has been a lot of crap surrounding the game- but just look at the trailer for what it is.

So awesome.

As a trailer, is this not epic?

HD should be on by default once you hit play.

After watching that i pre-ordered it again lol. SP looks awesome.

 

looks brill. not bothered about dedicated servers so im counting down the days and at least the postal strike in the uk has been called off so hopefully it will be delivered on release day.

 

I might get it just for single player. That mountain-castle scene looked epic.

Nah but really, That was hot the way they put EMINEM on the track, awesome.

 

I agree on the Eminem track in the background. Looked the actual song up and it's pretty good by itself

Gotta hand it to infinty ward, they know how to handle leaked copies.
They see that theirs a leak of their game, so they release a new trailer knowing every other video about mw2 is going to be the launch trailer.

 

I actually just saw the commercial. It is basically the same thing as this trailer here.(Eminem music and everything)

Not me , i got it pre-ordered from amazon and saved 10 pounds but i gotta wait till they deliver it with their free delivery.. hopefully it comes by friday..

 

Yeah I was kind of mad when I watched it. Some of that stuff would have surprised the crap out of me if I had just jumped into the game without any knowledge of it. But now I know there's a space scene, snowmobiles... etc. Oh well.

 

i ordered mine from coolshop for £23.99 including delivery but have just upgraded to courier delivery for an extra £1.99 just in case there is a backlog due to the postal strike.

im also waiting for my brand new bmw but its been delayed by 18 days so it will gie me plenty of time to play mw2

I have just heard these things of this "awesome" game:

- No dedicated servers

- Average ping for all players is 100 (Exept for the host, he got a ping on 10-20)

- PC users will pay extra for the DLC packs, that comes with new weapons, maps and skins etc.

- The ingame-console is removed

- Maximum players for a battle is 9 vs. 9 (18 players) because of P2P.

- You can't lean around corners (You know, the Q and E button on the PC)

- No mods!

Is this true? Because if it is - IT SUCKS! :'(

yep, thats true. Unfortunately, there are even people on this forum who will buy this game and contribute themselves to destroying PC gaming. All you can do to save your face is not to buy this game and support other developers!! unless you want to be someone else's biieeettchhh all your life. lol

 

I've known about the 9v9 thing...but for the P2P thing...im guessing this means the whole port-forwarding issue?

Actually, not buying this game will prb. do even more to "destroy" PC gaming. If no one buys this, IW will prb. just decide its too costly to port to the PC - even if it is done in a half-assed manner.

 

Just got news that every Best Buy in my area will have a minimum of fifteen Prestige Editions. Cheyah! No need to pre-order at all

Can't wait, but my PS3 is in shop so I might end up picking up the Prestige Edition and waiting.

As for the trailer. Effing awesome. Though maybe a bit too overtop with the space? This is more of an action movie now then a believable sequel to MW. But when I think about it, this is what I want games to return to. A mind numbing, thrill seeking single-player where you do it all.

Anyways, can't wait to pick it up, tear up some snow in Kazakhstan and figure who the hell is attacking Washington D.C. in BTRs (Russia?).

 

getting mine in first clas post tomorrow.. Total Cost 35 pounds.. if my parents listened it would be 31.. brb...
