Just what I was expecting for!
Activision officially announces return of World at War's popular soldiers-vs.-undead horde mode.

Well it IS Treyarch doing it just like World At War... They're probably making it their signature mod
I wonder if they'll allow modding... -
I kinda already knew before they confirmed (I think around the time of the big Multiplayer reveal).
I think if you get the Hardened Edition (the one up from the regular edition), you get something like extra map packs for zombies (not 100% sure on that though). -
Does anybody here genuinely trust Gamespot though?...
-
Gamespot is great and can be trusted. You must be confused with gamestop or something else.
-
Haha nice, zombies was awesome in waw.
-
Not everyone trusts Gamespot. They have been known to fire employees because they did not give a sponsor's game a good review. They have also been known to give some game's a poor review after only playing for an hour or so, even though for stated game genre, Gamespot claims to put in a certain number of hours.
Gamespot overall agreed good, but certainly have their bad spots. Personally I prefer IGN and Giant Bomb, but that's me.
- Their reviews tend to be too good for me, they give good reviews it seems to all the major publishers. -
Ill agree with giant bomb also being a good site. I enjoy their quick looks but I don't take their reviews too seriously. Mostly because of the rating system they use (only out of 5 stars).
Not counting reviews, I think most can say gamespot's news can be trusted though. -
No one uses Google anymore?

Well, I really wish COD with L4D kind of campaign.

Zombies. -
Spot on. Hoping this fad dies out soon........
-
ewww. Modern Warfare 2 was so mediocre. Taking the franchise outta the epic WWII battles makes for a pretty basic/bland shooter.

aawww s***

is zombie co-op like a left 4 dead type thing? I never played WAW
-
Sort of its 4 people, but there is no end, at least there wasn't in WaW. You use the points that you get to buy different weapons and unlock different parts of the map. I had a blast with it WaW and am very happy about seeing it back in black ops.
-
Except for Crysis, take out DLC, and replace zombies with aliens.
After the whole taking bribes from developers to give good reviews, and the other things that Ziddy listed, Gamespot has become more of a PC tabloid than a properly informative site. Much like how Tom's Hardware completely went down the drain, but Gamespot hasn't hit that level yet. -
I like Gamespot mainly because the user reviews are decent, release information is relatively accurate, and they have good download speeds. I never read their actual reviews. As a matter of fact I never give credence to any online or printed publications review scores. Mainly user reviews.

Not so excited for Black Ops, let alone the zombie mode. Think I am going to boycott Activision for screwing with Infinity Ward.

ugh that pic in the link with all four of em standing around looks like a complete rip off L4D imo.
