Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, frustrating? or just me.

Maybe it's because I just finished with Mass Effect 2, I'm finding BIB to be a bit of a let down. I'm only playing on medium, but dying like every 30 fraggin' seconds and having a tough time hitting what I'm trying to kill. The aim needs to be spot on. And honestly, it's just not that fun, but I'm wondering if I'm just spoiled from ME2.

if its too hard for you than you could try titles like mario cart and stuff they are more sutiable to the below average skilled players.

 

just take cover every now and then till you regain health

 

i'll move on to mario cart when you move on to pacman....

Sorry I'm not a big game geek like you.

I don't know what it is...Never had a problem with a shooter before. Blew through games like Halo and Half Life...Half Life 2... All of the Unreals....

If you ever played games like CS 1.6, Quake 3 and such, pretty much all modern (not online) shooters should be a piece of cake.

 

Im having fun on hardcore BF:BC2 servers right now.
No crappy killcam or minimap spotting to ruin my cover. hehe
Just gotta perfect my aim with the M95 since im not yet used to the sniper adjustments Dice patched into the game.

 

This is the reason why most people don't like hardcore. Sniper campers everyone hates play on hardcore.

Seriously though, it is a great game, might want to switch it to easy though just for the story. Reverend Ray is probably one of my all time favorite FPS characters.

If you are feeling masochistic, try S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on Master level or Metro 2033 on Ranger Mode (One of my top favorite games now that the console stink has been patched out). If you ever wanted to be beaten mercilessly by a game these two are prime candidates, take off the Halo training wheels, you won't learn anything from that Fisher Price brand console FPS.

But i tried Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood on my Xbox 360 some time ago, and i too felt that the cover system was kinda hard.
Its not impossible to win of course, but i dont think i can finish it now that Halo: Reach is near the release date.
And after that its Gran Turismo 5. ;D

 

I figured it out. Dialed down the mouse sensitivity and the game is much more playable now.
