awesome! This looks pretty amazing.
I cant wait
-
After MW1, I'm really looking forward to MW2.
I just hope it doesn't disappoint (like WAW)

WAW thank god wasn't created by infinity ward... that was just the company trying to bank on Infinity wards work

Earlier today I saw the scans of the pages of GameInformer's magazine article. From what I read and saw, it looks awesome, and I mean AWESOME!
-
I can't wait for this to come out, I loved MW1 I didn't like WAW as much
-
I'm betting it's Cold Warfare. I'm no expert on it, but if the F-22 design is 20 years old than the F-15 can't be much more new. All of it fits into the place, with the soviets, little birds, castles etc.
I'm betting that one storyline is a secret attack on a nuclear site, sort of like in CoD4. I'm also assuming that the castle is a snatch operation for a spy who flew a BlackBird and was shot down. I can't figure out what the snow-mobile has to do with it, but I'm assuming it's a multiplayer map or the chase after you destroy the nuclear site (again, exactly like the escape in CoD4).
I'm excited for vehicle combat, missed the huge tank battles from CoD3

That I could live with, it would be awesome
-
any word on requirements for min and max settings on mw2 yet?
-
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Basing it off the fact it uses the same system as MW, Im guessing it would be pretty close with a few updates here and there... Also due to the fact it had such a great system most gaming pc's running on high at very good fps, if you have a pc that ran MW it will run MW2 very well
-
i didn't... i'm awaiting the w90... so yeah. how did MW run on the w90?
-
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Like 90fps on highest settings, Maybe overexagerating a little but it benchmarked fantastically
-
sweet. i'm just hoping i can stay above 60 fps on max settings in MW2... as i'm getting the w90 in a week or two... and COD is one of my favorite games. thanks for the help biscuits.

Yea no problem man, enjoy it! and well if you have time write a review... maybe a video
-
I'm sorry, but I'm not waiting for another run and gun game. I enjoyed singleplay CoD4 MW, but for the love of God I can't stand the muliplayer. After reaching Level 55 and getting most of the unlocks, the game just got boring and at the end of the day it felt like I didn't achieve anything. At the moment the only game that makes it worth like I've done something online is Project Reality (mostly due to the teamwork game play) which is why I'm more interested in upcoming Operation Flashpoint 2 and Armed Assault 2. But I guess different games appeal to different people and I can respect that.
-
that's pretty much all FPS games... run and gun. i play for fun, not for a sense of accomplishment, and as with most games, you accomplish nothing, even if you 'feel' you do...
-
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Yes Yes I can't wait for OP flash point 2 and Armed assault 2... I just like playing Cod MWF2 with my friends on a console... I always play it on hardcore anyway
, I cannot wait I love realistic FPS's, Im a sneaky sneaky man who likes to snipe and take out people silently... in video games lol
-
O_O Do want!
-
That's not true; not all FPS games are just run and gun. Look at Operation Flashpoint series or Project Reality for example. You squad up, you order, you follow order, you build, attack, defend, etc as a team with each squad limited to a certain weapon/class or speciality that can and will affect the outcome of the game depending on how it's used. Again take a look at Project Reality and you'll understand why it isn't just another FPS game and why throughout an hour or two of gameplay on a single battlefield, you'll feel a level of accomplishment knowing you actually worked with a bunch of real people as a team, to reach a certain common goal. Unlike most FPS games out there, with these mentioned games the amount of individual kill points counts last as an interest of gameplay for those who enjoy playing.
-
why don't u join a clan, play competitively with a team. My teamm and MANY others still play cod4 religiously. Really, playing by yourself, online, is pointless. It is much better with a team, mates, etc.
-
that wasn't really my point. if he is going to have that approach to COD just being a run and gun game, what makes any game different? how is starcraft any different from age of empires? what is the "point" of any of these games? FUN. i don't play any game for a sense of accomplishment; if i wanted to "feel" accomplishment, i'd go do something productive.
-
i'm going to freeze myself until November 13th
-
it appears to be set around the fall of the USSR, but one of the guns is from 1994, but with the GPS i would say around about 1997-98
-
it doesnt seem to be a huge improvement over the COD series
-
that sucks that PC didnt get prestige mode, doing the levels over again 10 times definitely got old but kept me busy.
