I was browsing for a good racing sim to play, and I came across Live for Speed. It's increasingly fun and addicting (to me, anyways), but costs $30 to buy. I'm content with the demo for now (38 training exercises), but I think those interested should check it out.

P.S. It looks great and runs fine as well; here are the system requirements from their "Downloads" page: Required computer specifications:
1 GHz CPU, 128 MB memory, 3D graphics card

Ahh sorry, haven't really tried it out. In fact, I had a sudden urge to play a racing sim, and that was really the only reason I came across LFS.

Yup, had that sim 2 years ago. I even bought a logitech G25 just for it. One of the another nice thing of it is that it required very low system requirements, my buddies and I used to do LAN games in the weekend all the time.
