Ok, first of all I am well aware that my new HP DM4-1265DX is about the furthest thing from a gaming laptop. I did install the BF2 demo that EA Games put out in 2005, and even at the highest settings, it seemed to run fine. I went to Systems Requirements Lab, creator of Instant Expert Analysis to see what I could find that would have similar requirements, and everything I select comes back as a fail, even BF Vietnam. I am not looking to play any of the latest releases, just looking for some fun FPS's similar to BF2 that this can handle, and I'm really not up on what is out there. Any ideas or suggestions? I still have discs for BFV, but I'm not sure if anyone is still playing it and I would like multiplayer if possible.

    THanks,

Should be able to play BF1942 and BF: Vietnam just fine. I play both of these on my Toshiba netbook (in my signature).

Best bet would be to read guides on netbook gaming and you should be able to play all the games they list.

These are the games I've personally played on my netbook and should run fine on your laptop:

Battlefield 1942 - High settings, 800x600, runs very smoothly. 10-30fps. 10-15 was only seen while flying or in heavy action areas.
Battlefield Vietnam - Runs in Single Player (with bots) but is very choppy and under 10FPS most of the time (at lowest possible settings). Multiplayer is more playable with 10-25fps and a lot smoother.
Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition - Runs great
Flatout 2 - Lowest settings (800x600 res). Very playable 10-15fps. Bits of lag but not terrible.
Need For Speed Underground 2 - Runs ok at lowest possible resolution and settings. Dips in framerate and not a very good experience overall
Plants vs Zombies - Runs perfect
    Neverwinter Nights - Runs fine @ 1024x600. Full settings I get 8-10fps, Medium settings I get 18-25fps.
Trackmania Nations Forever - Runs fair. 640x480 (windowed) with all settings on low and get about 10-15fps
Unreal Tournament - Runs great in singleplayer (with full server of bots) and multiplayer
Unreal Tournament 2004 - Runs OK with 1 or 2 bots. Some dips in framerate. Have not tried multiplayer.
    Warsow - Runs great
XIII - Runs great in singleplayer and multiplayer (including hosting bots)
