    I'm thinking of buying a laptop. I've come up with Hp | Envy 4 - 1204. This laptop comes with AMD Radeon HD 8750M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated). I wanted to ask if I can play the following games on it?

    Counter Strike
    Call Of Duty 4
    Age Of Empires ( 1,2,3 and mythology )
    command and conquer generals 2
    stronghold (all parts)
    dota 2
    war craft 3 (dota 1)

    (I also need video editing capable graphic card. Not heavy video editing. just screencasts editing.)

    You should have no issues running any of those games;

    CS 1.6 and older run on HL1 engine, CS:Source/GO run on modified Source engine. Dota 2 is modified Source engine. Most of the games you listed are pretty old or the engines running them are ancient.

    Also video card VRAM is deceptive, for instance that utilizes 2 GB of GDDR3 which is far slower than GDDR5. But also the memory width also can make a difference. The "2 GB" of video RAM is used to mostly sell to normal users who sees bigger numbers (2 GB is better than 512 MB because its "more", but 2 GB of GDDR2 video RAM would more than likely perform worse than say 512 MB of GDDR5).

    Agreed with everyone above, just letting you know that Generals 2 has been cancelled and is no longer being made :(. But that machine will easily run all Command & Conquer games that have been released.

    Unless by Generals 2 you mean Generals' expansion Zero Hour.
