I have always liked Sherlock Holmes, ever since I was very young. So when I say the game "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened" I decided to buy it on a whim. It looked as if I could play it on my notebook without difficulty. But I realized it says "The GeForce4 and integrated/onboard graphic cards such as Intel 82945G/845G/852/855/865G/910 GML/915GM, VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP (and other models), and the SIS (all scale) will NOT run this game."

I have the latest (as far as I know), the GMA x3100, so will I be able to run this game? See specs in sig. Thanks!

the game will probably run, just start off on low settings and work your way up to a good mix of graphics and fps. Have fun :)

The X31000 is a very advanced IGP it has almost the same power of the NVIDIA 7400 so you should be fine.

Raw power though, most of capabilites are still locked at drivers-level. It's about a 6200/6600LE

alright, I knew the x3100 is really advanced, but I just wanted to know. IS there any way to "unlock it" from the drivers restraints, or could that be dangerous?
