I have the SONY CR 290 which does not come with a dedicated graphics card. Is it possible to install a graphics card, and if so is it worth it? I would be looking to play Football Manager 08 to Command and Conquer/Civilization IV.

    Thanks,

    Jewp

nope, if you want a new gpu since yours is built into your motherboard you would have to buy a whole new motherboard which aint cheap.

I think OP is looking more on the lines of a new laptop altogether since a new motherboard doesn't mean you can install dedicated graphics card options on laptops. I suggest the OP read the big sticky by Chaz at the top of the page and read the thread on upgrading video cards for laptops.

It is not possible to upgrade a integrated card.

Please read the upgrading mobile video cards for more information.
If you believe your notebook has one of those expections then post there.
