No, you can't...
Which laptop? -
I don't know of any laptops with 8400M GT that can be upgraded.
-
The sad part is, this being notebookreview.com, I can't tell if this is an April Fools joke thread or not.

HP dv6000.. I got 4 GB of RAM and 2.4GHz Dual core and good specs. So will that new external card work for me? I heard its about $600

will that help me at all? like if i run that and an 8400M GT? and is my card really that bad?
-
But I'm not sure. I wouldn't count on ever getting one though.
-
There is no external card available.
Your laptop does not have a 8400m GT, it's an 8400m GS. -
so basically im ****ed? and is my card any good? and will i notice any difference when hooking it up to a second 22" monitor?
-
You can play most new-ish games on low settings and/or low resolutions, but it's not meant for gaming. You have 2 options: new Desktop or new laptop.
-
or **** that, this is brand new. On system requirement lab i reach above minimium on evrything
-
Yeah. Like I said. You can play more demanding games on low settings and/or low resolutions. The 8400m GS is a fairly weak card. Not meant for gaming. If you want to game at higher settings and resolutions, you need a new rig, be it laptop or desktop.

I can't wait for the day when this is a non issue. Either with better integrated graphics ala AMD 780G or a CPU/GPU combo.
-
P.S. System Requirements Lab is as accurate as WEI. (Which, if you didn't know, isn't accurate) -
