I recently got my daughter a brand new dell desktop. And am going to get her The Sims 3, I just want to know if her computer can handle it.

tbh im not sure.
these are the system requirements for sims 3 that are posted on steam > Save 50% on The Sims? 3 on Steam
but im guessing the desktop came with windows 7
click > Can you run it and in the drop down box scroll down to sims 3 and it will check if your computer can run it.

Firstly, desktop discussions are not generally allowed here, so expect this thread to be closed. That said, let me answer your question. Yes, assuming the integrated graphics processor is an HD3000, there should be no problem running it.

The G620's HD2000 graphics will be able to handle Sims 3 with little issue; it's not a very demanding game at all.
That said, yes, this is a desktop-related question, so should be posted at DTR. Thanks for the productive answers and for redirecting the OP, guys.
