Can Nvidia do for Mobile Fermi, what they did with Desktop 460 Fermi?

Just reading the news and reviews on the newly released Nvidia GeForce GTX 460; what a turn around from the 480, 470, 465. And what is the biggest reason this card seems so much better than original Fermi? The Price!

You can buy two(2) GTX 460's for less than a single GTX 480 and get twice the performance.

Can Nvidia transfer this same logic and design into their mobile GPU's?

They already have Fermi for notebooks, the GTX 480M. The next iteration of Fermi will be arriving shortly (GF104) and will be a lot more economical in terms of cost and power consumption.

I understand that, I am more questioning Nvidia's ability to offer a competitive product at a price that will make ATI flinch. ATI is now worried about an Nvidia product, something that did not happen with the 480, 470, 465 release. The 480M cost is a joke; I am questioning if Nvidia will rectify this with their future 400 series mobile products just as they have just done with the GTX 460 desktop card.

Up until the 460, Fermi was a joke. For CUDA stuff it is second to none in performance, but for the general market it was a joke.

It is just a matter of time until the GF104 silicon finds its way into notebooks. Same with every other design in the past, and with other designs on the horizon (GF106, GF108).
