I have a studio 17 with a 512 mb ati mobility radeon HD 3650. I've read other posts and they all have people wanting to upgrade from their integrated. Is there any way I can upgrade my dedicated graphics card?

P.S. can you also tell me what a good temp for this card is? I wanna OC it a little.

No, that 3650 is not replaceable. As for temperatures, at idle you should be safe around 50-60C. Under full load, 70's and 80's C are fine.

All right thanks anyway. As far as card temp goes I have some room to OC seeing as dell under clocked it  . I'm not all that into hardcore gaming though so this card is fine for me. Thanks all

Wow, thats very interesting. I might just have a try at the VI dock. Anyway, its theoretically possible to upgrade. I have a 1737 with ATI 3650. Even though its "fused" to the mobo, its only glued. If you had access to a 1747's old mobo, and could get the ATI 4650 off of it, its possible to upgrade, the pins are the same. The tricky part is safely extracting, and re-gluing it. risky. :(

Edit: Oh and OCing event the ATI 3650 isnt really worth it. like a 5fps gain or so. I actually cant get it to overheat while OCing, the voltage is to low. As soon as you think your making gains, it artifacts and usually crashes. It does this while the temps are sub 60C.
