    Hi everyone,
    I have the following config:

    C2d 1.5 Ghz
    2Gb 667 RAM
    Nvidia 8400 gs 128 MB
    160 GB hd 5400 rpm

I am trying to play NFS: most wanted but it "stutters" a lot....
When I am racing, every 10 seconds, it skips a frame......

I hve tried playing at 640*480 with all details and everything set to "low", still I face the same problem.

also HL2 works rather well, and so does Mafia...

1)Has anyone else faced the same problem?

    2)Any solutions in sight??

    3) I think this problem even exists in NFS: underground 2

    4) Is processor the bottleneck?

    5) CAn anyone pls tell me which is the best driver fr 8400m gs in dv6500t and if possible where to find it ???

:( I thought when I bought this pc that atleast it will run games in basic resolution, with 2GB ram, but is has been dissapointin to see NFS:MW performin so badly on this config.... any help will be appreciated!

NFS:Most Wanted runs pretty smooth on my Compaq V5201 with integrated X200M at 800x600 with medium eye candy. The only minor slowdown I get is when using the Pursuit Breakers. Since your 8400M GS is vastly superior to the X200M, I would point to buggy drivers as the culprit.

As for which nVidia driver is best, I have yet to figure that out for the Go 7200 in my other laptop. It seems that every new driver fixes one problem but creates another......

    :)
