Hey guys I need some help. I just recently got a Dell Vostro 1500 with a 8600 m gt and love it so far. I was checking on my forceware and it is version 156.83. Now any of you that have this card, did you download a newer version and if so where? Any problems if any compared to my version and possibly a newer version. I am not looking to over clock but just play games like CODUO, Orange Box, COD4 with a decent frame rate.

I know on the pc I can just download the latest from nvidia.com, but they don't have mobile drivers so I am looking around and seeing what all your opinions are.

Don't know about Dell drivers... but I play with stock Apple drivers and CoD4 runs beautifully. Not sure about the exact FPS, but it is smooth and I don't se any stuttering. You may be able to play fine with just Dell drivers.

Also on the Nvidia display the "let the 3d application decide" is checked...should something else be checked?

    go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
    download the lastest driver
    also download the inf mod
remember where nvidia extracts it file
when you install your nvidia driver it will fail
don't worry use your modd inf file and replace the original then install
    it should work
