    Can i overclock my Graphic card??

    hey i have dv7-1025nr, with 2.26Ghz , 4GB Ram & 512MB 9600M GT..
    what can i do to increase its preformance.. also can i use tools like Rivatuner 2.,etc and upto which mark??
    a real noob in this area.. so plz recommend!!

    You can try using riva tuner. It might help but watch out the temperature

    yes you can overclock your GPU. just don't forget you will not only void your warranty, but very likely decrease the lifespan of the GPU. keep a close watch on the temperature, anything over about 90°C is dangerous.

    bt the post says u can't overclock HP notebooks due to heat problems!.. that's sad!!
    so should i go with overclocking or not??

    Monitor your temperatures first. If your max temps while gaming doesnt reach 75c or higher then you can go ahead and attempt to OC.

    Use HwMonitor, its free.

    Just google it.

    Let it run on the background while you play a game for an hour or so

    Depends on your hardware. But the driver updates are pretty regular on that site.
