    You wish.

You wouldn't get past the installer, let alone play it.

And Oldblivion will only give you about 10-20 fps.

You will be able to play it on VERY LOW (the setting added for GF FX cards) with most things turned down or off; or Oldblivion as mentioned, which is not Morrowind, it's patched oblivion to play with shader replacements and ini tweaks primarily so it could run on GMA9xxs and GFFX and GF4 machines.

Actually, I got oblivion to work with the x3100 without Oldblivion. HOWEVER, it was a horrible experience. Indoors the frame rate could go as high as 45 fps (starring at a wall), but whenever something attacked you, the game stuttered to unplayable levels. Outdoor areas were under 15 fps most of the time. This was all on very low settings. Oh and if you dont use the right driver (dont recall which one works), the game has all kinds of glitches.

Bottom line: just don't do it.

Time for an upgrade? With a $129.99 card I get maximum settings in any game I want besides Crysis @ 1280*1024 you know ;) . ATI X1950 GT, you could also do with another processor. Maybe an Intel D (Dual Core) 2.2 GHZ = $100. I have the 3.4 GHZ...) and another couple GB's of Ram.

Thats about $270 Canadian (NCIX.ca) for a budget system overhaul if you have a desktop.

If its a laptop you have (which is probably the case..), I'm sure it's great for everything besides gaming. Good news is!, The Elder Scrolls 4 is out for PS3 & Xbox 360, which is probably a good option for you.

To answer your question though, no, those specs will not run Oblivion. And if they did, you wouldn't want to play it that way.

Of course it's a laptop. Desktops don't use the Celeron 540 or the x3100. Not to mention this is notebookreview.com.
