No, it uses only one card slot. And the card is proprietary-made from Dell.

Will i be able the OC the CPU? It comes with a intel T7400 2.16 ghz wich is kinda low. Is the bios locked for OC in this laptop like most other laptops?

You can overclock with a T7600G only.

Well the laptop still run games very good in 720p. I have revived my old XPS M170 and have it connected to my 720p HDTV and that is only a single core with a go 7800GTX :)

SLI 7950gtx puts out intense heat - think of a blow dryer on high coming out the vents of the notebook.

however, the 7950gtx's are extremely capable cards, and SLI 7950gtx STILL rock.

you can overclock the t7400 perhaps to 2.33ghz like the t7600, but be careful with temps. i used clockgen to OC my t7200 in my m9750. it went up an easy 250mhz with barely an increase in heat. i'm not sure how capable the 1710 cooling system is though.

if it can take a 7950 GTX, it may be able to take an ATI HD mobility 3870, which is nearly equivalent to a SLI 7950gtx setup. i'd opt for that route if you could. it's newer and it will support newer games better than the 7950gtx.

it might be better but seriously it is just too old.. it time u looked for someting other than in 7000 series... they're almost 3-4 years old... and run hot... u might want to look for a laptop with 9000 series or ATI...

and it will be about 50% faster (not just in games), runs cooler and should stay alive for more than 2 years.
an old laptop like that should only serve as a temporary solution, the go 7000s were not known for their reliability (although you can always bake them).

Still the 7950GTX is the best GPU i can afford, and its a good upgrade from my 7600go. In September however am expecting a huge sum of cash, so the 7950 GTX only has to last until than, but if it lasts longer am grateful :)

so the 7950gtx will become obselete by September. you pay 200-300 dollars for some performance increase over the 7600 you have now, for 4-5 month.
may i suggest a 360 instead? or a netbook, both of which will be of use for more than a quarter.

I am allergic to console game controls. I doubt i find a netbook or anh notebook which is cheaper and offers better performance...
